Students can work with littleBits and Magnetic Tiles at their own level and pace thanks to the open-ended design. Magblox Magnetic Tiles and littleBits encourages students to play and experiment through active experiences, enabling them to construct knowledge that can be applied to real-life situations
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE INCURSION?
Our presenters will come to your school with enough sets and they will provide a stimulating and fun 90-minutes of engineering/circuit session.
The children will be guided all the way to complete projects suitable to their age and ability. The creations are scaffolded in order to encourage the children of different ages to attempt different levels and challenge their expertise.
At the end of the workshop, the children will help dismantle their constructions and tidy away the blocks and parts.
Apart from fostering self-expression and being great fun, the STEAM workshop encourages learning the fundamental concepts of circuits, coding, and critical thinking. At the same time, children are introduced to the realm of circuits and prototypes and the world of innovation.
During our workshops, students develop their team-building skills by working towards the common goal of building a project together.
